FAQ
Is Falcon Graphics free?
Yes. Falcon Graphics is free to use. You can explore the editor without an account with one layer, and a free Falcon account removes the current one-layer project limit.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Falcon Graphics runs directly at graphics.wearefalcon.tv in your browser. Open the editor and start creating; the working project is saved on your own computer.
How quickly can I get started?
You can be working on a graphic within minutes. Choose one of more than 30 templates, change its content and design, preview the animation and export when it is ready.
Can I bind OGraf Data to more than text?
Yes. OGraf Data can control every supported visual value, including position, size, rotation, opacity, visibility, motion blur, text, typography, colors, image sources and other layer-specific properties.
Can I export directly for CasparCG?
Yes. Export a self-contained HTML graphic with the CasparCG callbacks play(), next(), update(), stop() and remove(). The file can be loaded directly by CasparCG.
Does it work with other OGraf players?
Yes. Falcon Graphics exports an OGraf package with its manifest, Web Component runtime, assets, actions and GDD JSON for Falcon Play and other compatible OGraf players.
What types of OGraf Data fields can I create?
Create editable fields with a key, label, description, default value, JSON Schema value type and OGraf control type. Preview the exported schema and test the operator values before export.
Can the graphic fetch Live Data from an API?
Yes. A Live Data layer can read plain text, JSON through a selected path or HTML through a CSS selector. Refresh once, after an OGraf update or at a chosen interval. The source must allow browser access.
What can I animate?
Animate position, width, height, rotation and opacity with keyframes. Choose easing curves, add quick fade, slide or pop transitions, and enable motion blur with adjustable strength.
What is included in the template library?
Falcon Graphics includes more than 30 editable templates for lower thirds, news, sports, weather, finance, events, interviews, branding, data graphics and fullscreen information.
Are my projects stored in the cloud?
No cloud project storage is required. Your working .fgproject file stays on your own computer, while a browser recovery copy helps protect recent work.
